For all believers in Jesus who were caught up in the chaos in Washington D.C :

You have been given precious gifts!

You now have an opportunity to demonstrate for the world something that only a people who walk in the Grace of Jesus can do. You can demonstrate Jesus’s nature and your confidence in His Grace and Forgiveness.

Jesus has allowed you to see your vulnerability. He allowed you have experienced first hand the powerful soulish forces that carry a crowd from peaceful protest to violence.

Because of God’s grace, you are free to publicly acknowledge the weakness God has exposed and repent. This will let you demonstrate your belief in a loving God who forgives.

Be bold like King David when Joab killed Abner. David’s public grief caused all Israel to approve. Who knows what miracle God might bring about!

You have a second gift!

As you acknowledge what happened, and find forgiveness, you can now pray and minister to those in Antifa and BLM with the Grace that God is giving to you.

Now you know, first hand, what powers are lined up against those who would peacefully protest. You were still carried off by that force even though you have the Holy Spirit living in you. What chance do unbelievers have against such power unless you pray for them?

Don’t through the gifts away!

My earnest prayer is that the Church will not miss this opportunity!
